Estonian Olympic Committee approved the Estonian Flying Disc Federation and Estonian Federation for Company Sport as its new members at the General Meeting held on 18 May.

The Estonian Flying Disc Federation consolidates and unites clubs, unions and associations playing Ultimate Frisbee. The federation aims to develop Ultimate Frisbee in Estonia, organize tournaments, spread information about the sport and introduce it to general public.

The Estonian Federation for Company Sport is a sports organization whose mission is to support Estonian employers in encouraging their employees to adopt sport and fitness as a lifestyle. The association lists companies and sports clubs established within companies as members. The association aims to provide employees with an extensive schedule of events in competitive and amateur sports as well as cheaper and more comfortable training and competition options, to make funding employee sports easier for employers and to organize participation in international corporate sports events.

With the two new organisations now accepted, the number of sports federations within the Estonian Olympic Committee has reached 70; as well as 17 national sports associations, 19 regional unions and 16 private persons, comprising a total of 122 members.
