Biathlete Johanna Talihärm was elected as the first ever Estonian member of the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Athletes' Commission in Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. A four-time Olympian, having competed at Sochi 2014, PyeongChang 2018, Beijing 2022 and in three competitions at Milano Cortina 2026 over the past two weeks, Talihärm has 226 World Cup starts since her debut in 2012. She has served as European Olympic Committees (EOC) liaison to the IOC Athletes' Commission since 2023 and was elected as Chair of the EOC Athletes' Commission in November 2025.
